Demon-Host is dedicated to keeping your details private.

In the course of serving our customers and the general public, Demon-Host receives, stores and transmits data that may be private or sensitive.

Some of this information is provided to us by our customers in order that we may provide services to such customers. Examples of this said data includes your business name, telephone number and credit card information (all credit card information is encrypted).

Other data such as web usage, service logs and account modifications may also be used and stored for the purposes of carrying out services to Demon-Host's customers only.

Demon-Host will protect the confidentiality of its customers' information, account information and personal communications in a manner consistent with Australian law and the legitimate interests of Demon-Host, its partners, its employees and its other customers.

Demon-Host has appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures in place to prevent as far as reasonably possible, the loss, misuse and alteration of data that is collected from customers.

Demon-Host will not disclose its customers' personal and account data unless Demon-Host has reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of Demon-Host, Demon-Host's customers, or others, or where Demon-Host has a good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure.

Demon-Host also will not, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the contents of any electronic mail or other electronic communications that Demon-Host stores or transmits for its customers. The circumstances under which Demon-Host will disclose such electronic customer communications are when:

  • it is necessary in order to provide service to the customer;
  • it is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of Demon-Host and its customers;
  • it is required to cooperate with interception orders, warrants, or other legal process that Demon-Host determines in its sole discretion to be valid and enforceable; and
  • it is necessary to provide to a law enforcement agency when the contents are inadvertently obtained by Demon-Host and appear to pertain to the commission of a crime.

Security Policy

When purchasing from Demon-Host your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard.
